From the boardroom to the field
We spent decades building enterprise architecture and go-to-market strategy for Fortune 500 companies, and we watched too much great technology stall in bureaucracy before it ever reached the people who needed it. The best software doesn't belong in a boardroom. It belongs in the field.
Project2817 was born over a beer, listening to local home inspectors describe the daily grind of running their business. We knew we could fix it, but we wanted to do more than patch a problem. We don't build software to replace skilled professionals or shave a margin. We build pragmatic, no-nonsense tools that make their work easier and their businesses stronger. Our aim is simple: leave every industry we touch better than we found it.

The name is a nod to our roots: Texas, the 28th state, and Ohio, the 17th. Our careers have taken us from the Midwest and the Gulf Coast to the UK, but the ethos hasn't changed.
